Some years ago we celebrated Burbs day on the 13th of June.
Later we changed that to be "Burbs month" which is all of July.
I did my celebration on the 13th but I'll be sure to celebrate the upcoming 'Burbs month as well.
That's some great contribution there Mr Peterson.
Was skateboarding a big thing in Germany in the early 90s?
Here in Sweden it was very popular but I was to young to get involved before it "dissiperad". I remember all the older cool kids being into skateboarding.
I liked the trailer. It gave me a little of 'Burbs in the winter feeling mixed with Day of the dead, fright night... with more emphasis on the comedy.
I will put this on my to watch list and come back after I've seen it. If any of the neighbors have seen it feel free to give your opinion.
Over.
I have fond memories of the 90s version of this movie. Some friends and I found a VHS rental store that would rent out horror movies to kids younger than 15 years. It felt so forbidden and underground but we loved it. One of the first movies we rented was Candyman. 11-12 years old we gathered...

Congratulations on your 10th year anniversary JoOngle.
The 'Burbs is special to me for a number of reasons, here are some:
1. It's nostalgic, I watched it as a kid during that carefree time of life when everything is an adventure. When I rewatch it as an adult I get the same feeling I had...

The summer is approaching and a special time of the year is just around the corner. How do you plan to celebrate 'Burbs day?
I'm on the look for a new grill and I'm hoping for good weather as the summer will be spent in the back yard.
I hope that you're doing well, take care.
