1. The 'Burbs remake

I think we are just speculating. I for one do NOT want a 'Burbs remake or sequel. It is perfect the way it is. And Dan Aykroyd as Art wasn't my idea. Ray Peterson came up with the winning idea.
2. The 'Burbs remake

That would be a good route to go in. The only thing is Corey Feldman isn't a box office hit any more. Too bad, because he is great. Also, Dan Aykroyd as Art would be a great choice.
3. I found my new home away from home..

Nice to meet you neighbor. How's the...drainage on your property?
4. The 'Burbs remake

I can't see Jonah Hill as Art. No way, not even in a few years. That would be an insult to the memory of that character.
5. The 'Burbs remake

I'm going to preface this with a strong "I hope the 'Burbs is never remade." But if it was, Demon Princess comes up with the winning idea. Jason Bateman would be a perfect Ray Peterson. He has that straight man quality about him where the other actors can play off of him well. Christoph...
6. 'Burbs Day 2014

Just finished watching it! That's the third time in the past month I've watched. Still great. I should have bought some pretzels! So obvious.
7. 'Burbs Day 2014

Happy Burbs day! I'm at work at the moment. I plan to go down to the deli and get one of those beef sandwiches, then drink a couple hundred beers. Then I'm gonna crush some of those cans out of frustration. I did wake up at the break of dawn and watched my neighbor's dog. It didn't crap in...
8. THE 'BURBS Screenplay?

That's my favorite line too. It's actually my IMDB signature. There was a rewrite after this, and I believe Joe Dante said there a lot of ad-libbing. The film was shot in sequence so any changes they did make, could easily be made to fit into the story.
9. THE 'BURBS Screenplay?

I read it, and it's basically the same story but with a few dialogue changes, and slightly different character traits.

12. Recommend a good TV-Show.

Community is my favorite television show of the past 5 years. Also Fringe, for sci fi fans.
13. Thank You!

quote:

RayPeterson wrote: Yeah, we're pretty much of a real neighbourhood here, just in a virtual way :) I can only confirm what Uncle Reuban mentioned before, this place was very quiet for a while before our...
14. What y'all readin'?

Don Quixote. It's really funny.
15. Thank You!

No, thank you! This place wasn't as active as usual before you, DemonPrincess, and Dave Peterson showed up. Not to mention Fred888. Some neighbors don't come around as often as they used to, but it does always seem to get a bit more active this time of year.
16. Movies or episodes that actually made you cry

Wow, I can't believe I forgot about Buffy. Yes, there are many tear jerking moments.
17. The People Under the Stairs

It also has the pitcher kid from The Sandlot, if anyone else has seen that movie. There's another reason to watch it.
18. My new neighbourhood

Yes it's best not to jump right into the spying and basement digging right yet. Sounds like a cool neighborhood. I've always want to live on a cul-de-sac. There's only one way out. Naked ladies.
19. The People Under the Stairs

It's on Netflix if you have Netflix. It's definitely worth watching.
20. The People Under the Stairs

I first saw it when I was about ten, and then I watched it again a few years ago. I liked it, and now I watch it every October for my month of scary(ish) movies. It doesn't really give me the same feeling as the 'Burbs, but not many movies can.
