There are a lot of options when it comes to world building. It could be done in Minecraft as well. You would be in the "blocky" universe. It does have a million different mods to let you create the scene properly...

OMG!!!! That is Awesome. The coked up Corey can't stand still and talks over the take and clearly Dick has had enough. Everyone else is a total pro in that moment, not cracking up although they want to!

Well, there was no zoom in from outerspace, but it does start out with a Paperboy scene, delivering papers to the neighborhood. And my lord, Randy Quaid. I won't ever pass up a 80's Randy Quaid movie. Same goes for Bill Paxton.
