Jamie Lee Curtis is a nice choice I haven't heard before. In 1989 she would have worked great (although no one in any role would be better than the originals, of course!)

Welcome to the neighbourhood! I spent so much of my youth in Blockbuster Video shops in England too :D As for the OST, I got a new copy on eBay a few years ago for about £25, but they never seem to go cheap. I do love mine though!
