I was re-watching it, the Klopek's house is there.

In the audio commentary , Dana Olsen mentions a war movie ending, wich he wrote up when the producers wanted a new ending ,Big was released during the filming and Hanks popularity prevented that first ending to be made. Then there was an epilogue but it most likely wasn't written.

This is a low budget flick set in 84 about a group of kids , one of them thinks his neighbour is a serial killer. Very good movie, with tons of references to The 'Burbs, there is even a character named "Arthur Ray Peterson". No spoiler of course but I suggest you to watch it.
