12-21-2012 or 21-12-2012

The Maya calendar ends, but not because it stops forever. If I got it right it basically starts from the beginning again.

So I believe something WILL happen on that date. It's not the end of the world. But it's a change. A new age for mankind. It might even just happen on a spiritual base. Speculative.

Yeah, not so much the Mayans. I think that's merely the end of their cycle. But Nostradamus, the I-Ching, a software programme, 112 popes envisaged and we're on the 112th...there are a great many unconnected cultures over different time spans - and they all say 21/12/2012.

GALLACTIC ALLIGNMENT.

I've heard that 12-21-2012 is the gallactic allignment also.No one knows the effect because the last time it happened was well before written records were kept.

OK, I'm no scientist but I can't imagine which physical effects this galactic alignment might cause. Maybe no effects at all. And still it would explain the end of the Maya cycle who have always been fixated on the solar system, like many other ancient cultures as well.

Don't supervillains usually rely on galactic alignments to try and take over the world?

Uh-Oh! This might be the solution. So some evil supervillain will use the gelactic alignment?

*Shrugs* "Who knows"

So just who is this supervillain of yours Reub...

Me, Werner, and Hans plan on taking over the neighborhood!!

Interesting. I've seen the Nostradomus story on the History channel.

As you see there are dozens of theories about what might happen.

The St. Malachy prophecy is very interesting. The last pope? Maybe we're indeed facing some kind of doomsday, I don't know. But he only seems to refer to Rome.

The end of Rome? The end of the Vatican? An attack from the NWO (or real islamists) to ultimately destroy the Vatican and kill the pope? In 2012?

We'll see. Let's hope that all of these theories are wrong. Because if there is something true behind all of this we are about to experience some bad days and we better enjoy the calm days we are able to spend right now.
