Scares the heck out of me. I had a neighbor who would go out and mow his lawn (he had a lawn to mow) wearing shorts, wifebeater, black socks and black dress shoes. He was an older gentleman - a great guy and I liked him a lot, but that outfit - yikes.
Yeah old guys lose it. Toupee's...sandals and socks... jesus christ.
A Wifebeater is a tanktop shirt, typically what you see an idiot wearing after he is arrested for smacking around his wife, that or no shirt at all. It is a common term here in the states.
