I have a good friend I have known for years ( since 1st grade in school 1981) and we play this game over text message on the phone. I call it DOA.

You have to play with a friend you trust because the idea is, no googling the answer.

It is simple, I will send the message: "DOA: <insert famous persons name>" And if you think the person is somewhat obscure, include a picture.

They reply with either the person is alive or dead. Simple and fun.

IT also helps if they are a TV/Movie nut as we go DEEP sometimes. My last DOA to him looked like this ( I won, he's alive)

A recent fun one he sent me was Boutros Boutros-Ghali.

Fun because who doesn't like saying that name a few times out loud. I thought he could still be around. Sadly, no. I lost that one.

It's a bit morbid, but we can also play it on this message board, what do you think?

What about...

Dorian Harewood

Trust is the name of the game. I haven't googled him. And I do recognize him but can't say what from. So I will defer to someone else who can make a more educated guess. Unless you get no reply in a few days then I will post my guess.

True :)

To me Dorian Harewood is one of these "I haven't seen him but don't remember in which movie" guys. For example he was in Full Metal Jacket, Sudden Death, the remake of 12 Angry Men, but also appeared on some TV shows like 7th Heaven or Private Practice.

Do you want to make a suggestion next?

I believe John is alive. I remember him from Enter the Dragon and Terror on Elm Street, among other movies.

Sadly no, Saxon died in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on July 25, 2020 from pneumonia.

Ok Pathologist. You are up next. Remember everyone, no peeking! Honor System!

That's sad news, may he rest in peace.

DOA?
