I suggest you to also dig ThE Kids TV show Eerie Indiana.Joe directed ThE pilot and several other episodes, he also was a creative consultant.Its one of these Kids shows that an adult can enjoy.Especially if you are a burbs fan,there are references to ThE movie and even some actors like Miller,Gibson etc.And it is set in the suburbs too.The dogs are there too.


 
Yep, Eerie Indiana was required watching for my kids and they actually got into it and watched the whole season. Sometimes my retro shows and movies backfire and they have no interest in them, but E.I. was a keeper.

E.I. is where I noticed that Darla, aka Queenie, made an appearance on one of the episodes about the dogs. I updated her IMDB page as it was not listed at the time. That's a geek secret I can't talk about with too many people I know as they will look at me funny Haha.

HideousRagingInferno you did good, too bad the forum section of Imdb closed, it was really a gold mine for movie buffs.
