Hey, Whaddya guys eatin in there?

How many times does Art mention food or eating?

I bet 8 at least

Wanna go down to the deli and pick up one of those beef sandwiches?
 
Good drinking game idea while watching it hahaha

Everyone would be completely wasted by the end of the film.
 
Yeah, that would be cool - and everyone would be wasted. A good Burbs day idea?

 
I write that on my To-Do list.

1.) Count all the ssh's

2.) Count how many times Art mentions food

I think green lights is the biggest mystery of the 'Burbs.

I'd love to meet Joe Dante and Dana Olsen and ask them the secret behind the lights?
 
Yeah, you would think there must be a connection somewhere that we aren't getting.
 
Maybe Olsen / Dante wanted to give a hint that the Klopeks are really sinister beings and not as innocent as Bonnie and Carol believed they'd be.


Totally plausible.
That's one of the theories. That theories line cracks me up - as if those guys sat around like Einstein with relativity. But back to your theory - it is as good as any so far. Has anyone checked out Dante's other movies for green lights?
 
I agree SFA. That made me laugh. "That's one of the theories yeah" LOL Like they had approached it forensically, scientifically, in a brainstorming session and noted several possible theories LOL
