In the scene when Art gives his speech about skip you occasionally can see the exhaled air when he's breathing.

Is it really getting this cold in the L.A. summertime at night?
 
Yeah, I have noticed that and they all have jackets on. Interesting since our theory (that's one of the theories) about the time is that it is supposed to take place in early summer. I guess it does get that cool in LA. Does anyone know when the actual filming took place?
 
Hm, the only information my little Burbs booklet gives is that it was shot in the summer of '88 and that it only took 10 weeks to complete the film.
 
Hm, I hardly remember the summer of '88. I was just almost seven years old back then. Well it was the year when I first went to school (do you call it "enrolment")?

My memory already fades...

Damned right...I like just before he takes the walk "When what happened Mr Weingartner". His legs and those shorts and socks always make me smile!
