Howdy neighbors.

Big Burbs fan here been watching since 89 with my brother.

I was excited to learn that the film will be playing this Saturday at midnight at The New Beverly Theater in Hollywood.

My brother and I have the only two tickets purchased so far and I thought it would be a bummer if this thin doesnt have a huge turn out.

If you live anywhere nearby and love the Burbs, please show out with us!

Get these lame-o's outta my yard and down to the theater.

I would love to watch it in cinema, sadly I live in Sweden so its not possible for me to attend. I hope you guys have a blast!:)
 
It was a great show. I've been to that theater many times and have only seen it that full two other times that I can recall. One was for a new release movie and the other was John Casevete's Shadows.
 
I'm so jealous.

Those Californian farts, they've got the best setup on the continent. And you know why? Because they train their voters to dump on someone else's lawn.

It was a great show. Very packed house. More than 200 big fans!

Its an entirely new experience on film. I was only 9 when the movie came out and I saw it immediately on HBO that year. So this was my first Burbs theatrical experience.

Im sure itll come around again, and I will keep you updated if it does!

Yeah, we should have an airing like that in Sweden too.

If It was showing in June, I would have come over to watch as I was in the neighborhood then, I spent a month in the US, in Oregon...would gladly have visited California for that showing, too bad it was after I went home :( Oh well, maybe next time.

Oh yeah, I'd really love to see this in cinema, too. Unfortunately the chances here in Germany are extremely low. Probably will never happen.
 
Good you got to see it on the big screen. I saw it on the big screen when it was originally released and fell in love. Last Christmas the wife and I saw 'Its A Wonderful Life' on the big screen and it was just amazing. I highly recommend it if any of you have the chance.
 
Damn why are they only showing new movies in Germany? I've never heard of a theater showing some classics. Would for example love to see Ghostbusters on the big screen. Or Indiana Jones. Or Back to the Future. Or...yes, also Dirty Dancing.
