Hey!

I feel that Jerry Goldsmith's score has made this movie a classic gem for all time.

Without his contribution it might have lived as a cheesy 80's movie, but I think anyone who appreciates film score will recognize his unique impact that drives and sets the tone for the story so well, will only increase in value for film fans going forward.

It's really a matter of keeping the flame alive, exposing it to people every now and then :)

I just wanted to join to say this. I can tell the affluence of the board is past, but there is some hardcore of the hardcores who I hope will post replies around here when I stumble on a thread I will add to! So many to browse through...

Take it easy. 'Burbs forever, and release it on blu-ray Universal..

Hi and welcome to the neighborhood. Just keep the posts coming, people stop by our neighborhood all the time.

Hi and welcome in our neighbourhood.

I love the soundtrack as well, I even have it on my iPod and listen to it on my way to work from time to time. May Jerry rest in peace.

Hi and welcome. hope you stop by from time to time. Besides the score, I think the cinamatography is quite good. It has a nice 'moody' feel to it.
