Happy 'Burbs day everyone!

What did you do on this very special day?

Here are some ideas for 'Burbs related activities:

-Have ribs for breakfast
-Wake up at the crack of dawn to watch your neighbor's dog take a crap
-Try to get some god damn sleep.
-Cut the power to the neighborhood.
-Paint your god damn house
-Bring brownies to your neighbors.
-Pass a note under their doorway.
-Smoke a cigar.
-Watch Jeopardy
-Call the pizza dude.
-Stake out your neighbor's place from the roof.
-Raise and salute your flag to Machine by Circus of Power
-Try out you new golf glove, because you're going to be playing that muh golf
-Eat sardines with pretzels.

Feel free to add to the list.

Hey everyone, hope you all enjoyed your Burbs Day 2015. What a great sunny day it was. I wasn't at home until the evening time but then it started. I intentionally made no other appointments this saturday evening in order to be able to focus on my Burbs Blu Ray.

Before watching the movie I listened to a couple of tracks from the Burbs soundtrack. I put on my Burbs shirt (which I posted here before, hope you remember) and filled some orange juice in my "Skip's soda fountain" cup (which I also posted here before). With this equipment I simply enjoyed watching The Burbs again after...well, I think it's been a couple of months. And it felt damn good. It also felt a little sad to see Rick Ducommun on screen after hearing from his death but nonetheless all the classy Art Weingartner moments still made me chuckle.

So how did you other Burbanites spend your Burbs Day 2015?

Only burbs thing I did was drink a couple of hundred beers and fixed the BBQ

:omg: But you also watched the movie as a Burbanite is supposed to do on Burbs Day, didn't you?

New to these here forums and just found out this is a day. Adding to the calendar for next year!

The crows are growing in numbers over the last few years so I think I'll get a gun and pop a few as my tribute.

I waited on the paperboy to ride by so I could throw coffee at him, he never showed up so I threw it at the neighbor's dog who was looking to take a dump on my lawn!
That night after drinking couple hundred beers while watching the Burbs, I went out and slipped a note under my neighbor's door, it said 'got somebody tied up in the ol cellar have ya dude?' I did it as a joke as i've known this guy for years and we both laughed about it the next day when I explained it, but strangely there is now a for sale sign in his front yard..

Hello everyone. I've been away (I had that thing with my stomach again). I hope all of you had a fine burbs day! I did the usual, had a few hundred beers, drove my trash to the curb and banged it with a stick and for fun I spilled some brownies on the neighbors porch. :D

Welcome back to tha hood.

Thanks RP. Good to be back.

Watched the workprint that day got a ps3.
All the stuffs that were cut should be in the movie, only the alternate scene where they break in Wlater's house is better in the theatrical version;

I really loved that scene when Rumsfield watches the teens coming from the the other street while he is on his roof.
