Any ideas as to who owns the Merchandise/Character licensing rights to The Burbs???

Good question, never really thought about it. In my opinion it might be Imagine Entertainment, probably even Amblin Entertainment or Universal Pictures.

Just stumbled upon this community yesterday: had no idea it existed before then. Glad to know what a dedicated fan base exists for this largely under-rated classic!
 
Just a quick note for anyone looking on with rights to The Burbs: stick anything Burbs related onto anything for sale and I'll buy it.
