When Walter is being brought home by his family two things just don't jibe,
1: The License plates on the Sable wagon don't match. The front plate is CDP-374 while the rear plate in CAL-652.I don't know what the Hinckley Hills Police have to say about that but here in New York somebody's getting a ticket. Both plates are Illinois Drive safely plates.
2:When the Sable is first rounding the corner,a younger man (with hair)is seen driving. When the car is in Walters driveway an older(balder)man is present.
My father in law had the sedan version of this car.As you'll notice in the movie, the grill decorative lights are burnt out.The bulbs were short life 12v wedge bulbs and you had to keep changing bulbs to keep that Sable front lit up.The Axod tranny on this car cracked in half($1,300)and the head gasket leaked($1,100). I hope Walters family had better luck with it.
