Okay. First off. I have to state I have a fear of clowns. I don't get it? But anyways, that will be another post LOL

IT. Hmmmm cool film right up to the end.....

Woman In Black - The end on the movie is different to the book.

2 simple questions
1) Why do they change the endings??
2) What other's can y'all think of?

Probably they really believe their ending is way better than the original ending? Maybe they make it more suitable to the audience because very often what you read and which images and feelings this creates in your mind differs from what you indeed see on the big screen. Some directors just don't have the opportunity to make book contents visible (and vice versa).

I can't think of any others now but: provided the original author was still alive, he/she certainly had to agree with that ending, right? But why do so many authors afterwards complain about the movies for belying (is it written like that?) expectations?

5,99 is a reasonable price. I'll look for a German version.

i remember my sis and i watched the shining a few years back. and we had seen it a dozen times, but it was summer and it aws like 5 in the morning... and we were bored, LOL. and he had to have been supertired cause suddenly we realized that the room 237 had the same numbers as the last digits in our homephone number back then, LOOL! and after my sis mentioned that..we just sat there, watching and became totally paranoid and freaked out. lmfaoooo and the next day, after some sleep we were like wtf why were we so creeped out, lol!

cant think of any movies now that have a different ending (although i know some) but im lazy and tired, lmfao.

i think that often the ending is changed because it will seem odd to end a movie like that, even though the ending works as a book. Like in Red Dragon, the book had an ending with uuuh, Dolarhyde got snagged by a fish hook? or was it graham? i cant remember. it was all just so crazy and random. it wasnt bad, but it would have seemed SOOO weird as a movie i think.

I dont mind at all when they change stuff like this, lol im too lazy to mind. xD

Hanne...have you been at the E numbers again?

Prepare the Bimsa Room!
