One of the reasons I love the Burbs so much is because I was able to relate to it so much when it came out. This video was apparently shot by some fine folks back in my hometown doing the type of thing we often did back there... waiting for a car to run over some dog poop...

That Queenie really gets around.

You were up at the crack of dawn watching for a car to run over some dog poop...

wouldn't Mark have a good lawn if queeeeeenie pooped on it? Poop is a good fertilizer.

Yeah, that's what I thought too.

While fertilizer contains poop it also contains other natural materials (leaves, grass trimmings, etc etc) that have been composted together. It's also usually made up of poop from plant eating animals (cows, horses, etc) rather than meat eating animals (dogs). Plain old dog poop that doesn't contain the materials needed to return to and nourish the soil will just wind up killing your lawn. Not the whole lawn of course, but certainly spots of the lawn where the poop has been dropped. Wait, how do I know all this? Poop 101.

WOW! The poop professor. LOL

I mean, if you think about it...it gives a 'logical explanation' about the state of the Klopeks yard. I'm sure Landru's size must have been overwhelming... :p
