EDEN LAKE

"Have you ever seen the movie Eden Lake Mr. Peterson?"

"No, no I didn't see that."

But I've read a little something about it. Must be a pretty intense experience. Kinda like "Irreversible"?

Nope, never seen it.

Looks interesting. There have been a couple of these intense movies, especially from France (À l'ìnterieur, Martyrs, Frontiers)...

I've seen it. It's a good movie in the sense that it makes you wanna jump right into the screen and start snapping necks!

But it's not a "light" movie, it's actually very depressing (at least i felt so) and you shouldn't watch it if you can't handle torture/violence.

At the end of the day the movie made "feel" at least something, compared to the rest of the !@#$ movies they make this days, so it's overall a good movie IMHO.

Some movies seem to have this special ability of making you feel extremely depressed. I've heard that "Requiem for a dream" is such a movie. Anyone ever seen it?

Eraserhead and Jacob's Ladder are very creepy.
 :omg:

Many scenes on youtube.

I've seen Requiem for a dream and yes it makes you feel depressed but I still got more of a "feeling" out of Eden Lake (you genuinely start to hate some of the characters in the movie).

Talking about Requiem for a dream I have to recommend a movie called The Basketball Diaries, they are similar in the sense of drug use in the movie.

The Basketball Diaries is actually a very good movie and I recommend it if you want to see a movie that will make "feel".
