I used to despise this show, only because I was ignorant. The only people I knew who watched it were really flaky and stupid. My friend sent me this clip. Oh my. For those who've seen it, this is a Mr. Herbert tribute...to those who haven't seen it..

Meet Herbert the Pervert...

To be honest, in my opinion Family Guy and Seth McFarlane are genius.

I always loved this kind of humor especially the many spoofs which hit the nail right on the head. I love it when they spoof other cartoon characters.

I'm a little ashamed to say that but Bugs Bunny getting shot by Elmer Fudd and Yogi Bear getting stabbed to death by the park ranger, Kermit the Frog being "Deep Throat" and Darth Vader applying for a loan in order to "build a giant space station which destroys other planets" is just too funny.

Here are some of my favorite clips:

The creepy Herbert clip was funny as well. Although a bit...well, creepy.

My boys are Family Guy addicts ~ they love it. When it was on here it was at the time I was cooking dinner so I never got into it. We have a couple of the boxed sets I might have to load a couple of the dvd's in and watch.

I love Family Guy! I watch it every chance I can, it's like crack. I love the "Children of the Corn" spoof.

The boy group Hanson's tour bus breaks down in front of the Griffin's house and asks to use their phone. Peter opens the door and screams,

"AHHHHH! It's the Children of the Corn!"

He then proceeds to pull out a shot gun.

Stewie's my favorite character though, I always wondered why he was British...

Is Stewie a bad guy in anyway? British characters tend to be bad guys in the US.

Yeah, he is sort of an evil genius... always plotting to kill his mother Lois.

"Victory is mine!"

Why is it that most Brits on American tv are evil? Most of my girlfriends swoon at the sound of a Brit.

It's not just the Brits. Usually the Germans are depicted as evil beings as well. Probaply that's due to our Nazi past I don't know.

Without the German guys John McLane would have had less problems.
