I've been married for 9 years now. Not a bad gig!
I love autumn, leave's changing color and the crispness in the air. I fee bad for people whom live in climates that don't have the 4 seasons.

1990... I hardly remember that year. I was a little 8 years old kid back then.

Oh yeah, I remember Germany winning the FIFA world cup against Italy back in 1990.

And the cool anthem they played during the world cup in the arenas, let's see if I can find it on youtube. Ah, here it is:

I love Italy. As a kid me and my parents would spend our holidays there each and every summer, once a year.

Autumn is my favourite time of year...the nights drawing in, sitting round the fire, the smell of bonfires on the crisp, chill air...kicking through gold and russet leaves that carpet pathways through the woods...Goose Fair...my daughter's birthday, Hallowe'en, Bonfire Night...it's the run up to Christmas...

Believe it or not, my Christmas diary is already getting filled. Has been for a month or so. We're flying up to Edinburgh in Scotland again same as last year. It's fantastic. The atmosphere and all. I've booked most of December off, back to work on 5th January. Gonna be a biiiiiiig month for us!

that sounds awesome! Any room for me and the wife?

Aw man it would be so cool if we could meet for a Christmas showing of the burbs, complete with many, many beers and all the trimmings! It'd be awesome. I can get, like, 7 or 8 cars on our driveway...

We wed on 4th August, 1990. The hottest day, I believe, ever recorded in Britain. And BOY was it hot...you when the sweat crawls up the... Even the usually cold stone walled church was warm!!!!

I remember getting to the reception so hot and parched, but the only drink on our table was champagne. I whacked a few of them bad boys and remember getting a buzz before my speech!

Cool so you married the same year Thea! It really is flying by though...It gets better as I get older too.

Soon be Christmas...

Autumn is in the air here already!<center><hr width="100%"/></center></blockquote></span>

I definitely agree.

As for Christmas, my daughter is 4 nearly 5. She'll be BUZZING this year. I've got a tonne of lights for the house, gunna buy some more as well, and my neighbour is emigrating to N.Z. so he's giving me his lights too! May have to go auxillary nuclear for power...our whole street goes mental with lights. It's a cul de sac and people come from miles to see it. It's got a nickname SANTA CLAUS LANE.

So do you make your house look like the Clark Grisswald's house from the movie Christmas Vacation? That's what my husband does, but that's ok cause I love Christmas lights!I Love Christmas, but my favoite part is seeing the joy in my children's eyes.

Absolutely. The big switch-on...when they're all done...that's cool...year before last the whole street came out when all the lights were switched on on a Sunday night. That was so cool. I'm thinking of a big unveiling this year...couple of tables at the top of the road with minced pies, wine, hot chocolate and gluhwein.

Nocturnal, yeah, if you liked Christmas Vacation (I watch it all through the year as well LOL) check out Deck The Halls...
