God, I hate my PC

Alright, my computer and me...we're not the best friends you know. And we will never be. NEVER!

Currently my WLAN connection is breaking down from time to time. I don't know why. I just don't know. And I'm not able to re-install my WLAN Stick. Don't ask me why. I just have to accept that.

Be that as it may: due to these problems I might be some time off the board. Or maybe not. Depends on my computer's mood. I just wanted to announce that.
 
Bang the heck out of it with a [WLAN] stick...that might work...

Alright, that's enough of that conversation with my PC and my WLAN stick. They're not listening to me anyway.

So I just went to our local Computer store and asked for a beef sandwich and a new WLAN stick. At least they were able to provide me with a WLAN stick.

Which seems to work right now. Still I have to be careful and will not show too much exhilaration in front of my PC but that's a first step.
 
Never let the PC know...It's like HAL in 2001...it can lip read too...

are you using a broadband pcmcia card?
 
I'm using no card at all.

There is the router and the WLAN stick which I'm just sticking in my USB - port. That's all.
