Ray, do you actually play guitar?<center><hr width="100%"/></center></blockquote></span>

No, I don't play an instrument at all.

As a child I tried to learn the piano but the lack of talent and an abundance of impatience made me quit this endeavour quite fast.

not sure if you meant Ray Peterson, but I play. I've been playing for 20 years; the guitar. My favorite hobbie, besides watching the 'Burbs.

Geez this forum is amazing! It combines my two favorite things, The Burbs, and guitar.

Here are a few of my favorite solos:

I'm Going Home - Ten Years After
All Along the Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix
I'd Love to Change the World - Ten Years After
Dolly Dagger - Jimi Hendrix
Since I've Been Loving You - Led Zeppelin
Achille's Last Stand - Led Zeppelin

I'm sure there are more those were just off the top of my head.

Since I've Been Loving You is awesome. One of my wife's favourite ever tracks

So I revive this thread because I recently heard a song which ended with a long and great guitar solo as well.

Never heard the song before and never heard of the band before although they seem to be quite popular. It`s "Ramblin' Man" from the Allman Brothers Band.

Guitar solo starts at 02:40.

The Allman Brothers Band is fantastic!
One of my fav Allamn Brother songs is
 'In Memory of Elizabeth Reed'

RIP Duane Allman.

Eddie's solo in Michael Jackson's BEAT IT is cool... and the guitar solo in crazy nights by KISS is okay

Another fave, though, is the two guitarists solos in Iron Maiden's THE TROOPER. Man I love that track.

I like the guitar at the begining of the Scorpions song No One Like You. That rocks!
