Huey Lewis - Power of Love (live)

As I mentioned a couple of times before I'm a great fan of Huey Lewis & the News.

If you're interested here is a wonderful performance of him and his band performing "Power of Love" live back in 1994. Great voice, great band, great song.

I remember Huey! He was super popular in the 80's with several #1 hits.
I like the Power of Love, but my fav. Huey song is "do you believe in love"

Yes, this is also a nice song, although the videoclip is ultra-cheesy (like many of his 80's clips, e.g. "If this is it", "Doin' it all for my baby".

Unfortunately Huey has become AWFULLY QUIET in the recent years. His last album "Plan B" was released back in 2001. It was also very good.

I like HLATN. Good songs.

Did you know his song "I want a new drug" actually refered to his girlfriend?

Did he want to say he was addicted to her or what?

Quite the opposite. He was saying he wants a new girlfriend, but "I want a new girlfriend"
just wouldn't sound right. Huey said that in a interview once.
