Huge Fan of the movie. Glad I found this place to mix it up with other people who respect this movie as a work of art. One of the greatest pieces of film making ever no doubt. Wish I would of found it sooner.

Off to work now but you guys will be seeing a lot of me as I will give my perspectives and why I think this movie is so excellent.

My Burbs story.. Roughly 15 years ago I was trying to collect all of Corey Feldman's movie's( I was 14). I stumbled upon THE BURBS. My first impression was positive and I immediately noticed the tremendous amount of replay value this movie had. I started watching the movie all the time. It was perfect in a sense it fit in almost any type of situation. I tried to get as many friends / girlfriends to watch it as possible. Most liked it but few appreciated it as the absolute gem that it is. Everytime I take vacation this movie is a must watch. I've been geek in out on it pretty hard the last couple weeks and was gonna create my own fan site. Lucky for me you guys already nailed it!!! Found this place last night and just spent a couple hours reading old post and gathering your guys thoughts and opinions on the film. So many great quotes from this movie. So many great scenes. I look forward to conversing with all of you and going through the threads and adding my 2 cents in. No other movie do I know of that it gets better everytime you watch it.

Hello Ray, Thanks for the welcome

Clearly I'm a terrible painter and I doubt I will ever finish. Even if I did you ever notice how bad it was going to look? One post was red, was post was columbia blue. The paint was just left open with no lid. smh....
