I know you guys hate country but...

I have to admit it again: I do like U.S. country music. I occasionally listen to some country web radio channels and recently heard the following one. Fun lyrics and great rhythm:

Good to know that I'm not the only one on this board who appreciates some good country music. I know George Strait as well.

I like older country music as well although I have to say that it should not go back further than the 80's. Some (US) people claim that today's charts are hardly "Country" anymore but I don't think so. It's just modern country but undeniably country.

From the 80's stuff I especially like "Alabama". While no one knows this band here in Germany it is a super band in the USA. Songs like "Roll on 18 wheeler" or "Song of the south" can be heard again and again.

I also discovered a band named Shenandoah. I like their sound as well (although it's quite similar to the Alabama sound).
