Lately I'm getting more and more into retro stuff.

I was thinking about getting one of these? Have any of you tried it? It has a lot of games from a lot of different consoles. For the price, approx 100 dollars, it feels like a given one.

Any thoughts?

Yeah I also considered one of these already. Thousands of games and it even emulates morew difficult systems like the Dreamcast pretty well.

...let's do it!

Never tested one.

But it's most likely one of those all-in-one controllers found in 1000's of either portable or "any box design" emulators, you should look up some reviews and youtube video tests for it before jumping onto one.

Otherwise I could recommend RetroPie, it's based on a Raspberry PI microcomputer, and these are cheap, but usually quite powerful and also usually way better to play retrogames on.

I've watched a couple of reviews and find them to be mostly positive. Some reviewers have mentioned that not all the games run smoothly and that you have to configure the settings to make them do so.

But with all those games, I believe the new version of pro has like 50 000 games, I'm sure I'll find some classics that I'll enjoy.

I'll get back to you when I've tried it.

There's a new one which is more powerful and runs games more smoothly, also Dreamcast games. It also comes preloaded with thousands of games.

This guy does a great review of it. I think it looks very promising.

It looks good Mr P! :)

I've ordered one and I'm looking forward to try it out. I'll post some pictures as soon as it arrives.

Woohoo, looking forward to reading about your experiences.
