No...no it wasn't *walks* Wales was a lot smaller then...hey you remember where Wales was? to the west of England...well...there was this guy who ran it, a rotund guy called er...Gordon Brown...hey he's characterless, talentless, a boring businessman, looks like a sack of sh*t...he's messing up the economy for the country...it's a synch he's not running for Prime Minist- oh...anyway... yeah...so he's the PM and...all of a sudden, people in the United Kingdom start smelling this really rotten stench...but no-one says anything I mean, hey what do you do, knock on Number 10 Downing Street and say your country stinks?...so they start having these really widespread Union Strike Actions...you know...and some people in the elite are ignoring it, right, they're pretending it's not happening...oh you think that's funny?
Well let me tell you what happens next...people can't afford ludicrously high gas and electric bills, community charges, mortgage repayments, fuel for their cars, high food costs, prescriptions, etc...the recession bites and millions of people lose their jobs...
You know what that smell was over on 10 Downing Street Ricky? The New Labour Government and the rest of the little trust and allegiance the working population bestowed on them thinking they were 'labour' decomposing in the Summer heat...yeah apparently, Gordon Brown was sh*t too many times...el snappo.

Subprime lenders... My 401k, along with everyone else's, not to mention the global economy, is shot to heck because of a bunch of nitwits buying houses they couldn't afford. The real culprits are the mortgage brokers who set the deals up, made their money and got out quick.

Yup, recession is on its way but fortunately due to the labor market reforms of the last years it will (almost) not inflict German unemployment rates.
