That jacket would have been awesome.

Your German is just perfect.
"Meine teuflischen Nachbarn" = "My devilish / diabolic neighbours"
On the other hand:
"The Burbs" = "Die Vorstädter"
[/quote]
Vielen Dank, but I have to admit your English is far better.

I have the region 1 and region 2 DVD, I have the 13 track CD and the 33 track expanded CD
I also have a CD I compiled with all the other music from the movie. Except for one. The music playing at the Klopek's. I had the music file but it wouldn't transfer. It was Enrico Caruso's "Questo O Quella". Damn...that's the only piece of music I don't have. I can't find it in my music shop. Ahh...that's a !@#$ store anyway.

Check here, item 72, but apparently it will cost you at least $50 on Amazon.

"you've had that in your trousers all day?!"
I actually have a Burbs robe - brand new E-Bay, of course. It looks a little like Ray's but it has "the 'Burbs" on the right front.
I've spotted such a robe several years ago on ebay. Hope it's not the same?
Does it smell like someone has been cooking a god damn cat while wearing it?

Walter, I have your dog.

No, but maybe I need to wear it holding a spatula and garden hose to get the full effect.
Might be the same robe, though.

Does anyone know how much those movie posters go for? I'd like to get one (of The 'Burbs of course) for my guitar room.
I'm only laying here with my eyes closed trying to get some goddamn sleep!
I have:
- The 'burbs US/Canada DVD (Region 1 NTSC)
- The 'burbs Uncut UK DVD (Region 2 PAL)
- No Matarás... al vecino European Spanish DVD (Region 2 & 5 PAL) - contains Spanish, English, Italian and Russian languages.
- Japanese hand flyer
- Press Kit
- US Magazine with On The Set for The 'Burbs
- Script from Planet Megamall
- Film cells
- Couple of posters
The Spanish DVD is almost impossible to find anywhere. I bought a copy from eBay but it got lost in the post on its way from Spain. I eventually found a sealed copy elsewhere. I don't think it's currently in production. In terms of video and sound quality it's probably the same PAL transfer as the UK "uncut" release. Overall it's a better disc because it contains the additional languages. Cover art is similar to US release (but with No Matarás Al Vecino instead of The Burbs).
