Joe Dante's cameo

Did anyone see Joe Dante's cameo in the film. Normally he is always in; a fireman in Innerspace, a tv director in Gremlins 2, a scuba diver in Piranha.

Anyone?
 
I'm afraid there was no Dante-cameo in the Burbs. Dana Olsen has a cameo as a cop at the end.
 
The part of Dana Olsen is expanded in the alternative ending, but without dialoge.
