Last time you watched The burb's?

I watched it a couple of times last week. Once to see the blu ray version for the first time, and then again with the writer's commentary, which I'd been saving.

I was really disappointed with the commentary. I hate commentaries where someone "interviews" the person doing the commentary. Just let them talk freely while they watch the film!

And the person asking the questions knew so little about The Burbs that he was asking questions I already knew the anwers to.

I'm thinking about watching The Burbs again over Christmas. Maybe Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. For some reason, I don't think i've ever done that before...Although I do often wonder what Christmas would be like on Mayfield Place. I'd love to see it covered in snow with Christmas lights in the windows!

I'd love to see a christmas version of the Burbs.

I agree a Christmas version of The Burbs would be awesome! Can you imagine Ricky and Dave making a snowman, then Rumsfield comically slips on ice falling and knocking it down? I get a laugh just thinking about it. haha

Nooooooooo!

For the last couple of months the whole movie has been available on Youtube.

Yesterday it got pulled from the channel.

Guess I'll have to stream it until I find another VCR at a flea market.

Currently watching. It's been just the worst day (TL;DR crap at work reached a head today, and I decided I can't stay in a toxic environment. I managed to get another position lined up somewhere better, but the bullshit still took its toll), and I'm curling up with some homemade pizza and my biffle and watching my comfort movie.
