People watching is cool. I was doin' some of that today as I went into town to drug test our prolific offenders...nice eh? and I noticed the aggressive, p*ssed off, "the world owes me everything" expressions - on women mainly, but also on men. And everyone looked fed up and depressed. Jesus. That it's come to this!
And yet we see film of some of the Chinese in earthquake affected areas smiling, we see smiling children in war-torn third world countries and we see happy people in situations where you wouldnt want to be yourself, often smiling and looking happy to be alive.
Then you see those faces I saw today.....
Those worn-out faces... I see them in the metro day by day. And I always use to think: "Man, you folks need some heavy BURBS dose right now!"
It's not just that. On the highway people are pushing you, almost driving in your trunk, they illegally overtake you and so on. Mostly in their expensive cars. Sometimes I wonder if decency and manners is going completely downhill?
