I love the music which begins when the paperboy is driving in Mayfield place right at the beginning. It's so harmonic and it perfectly fits to the atmosphere of a beautiful sunny morning in the suburbs.
Yeah, I've always said this. When you see Rosanna Norton's name in the bright, bristling spokes of the bike's wheel and the uplifting, almost frivolous music...tres apt.
Ya know I think all the music,in every scene fits beautifully. That's one of the millions of reasons The Burbs is awesome! It's like every song helps tell the story.
He comes over here to smoke cigars, his wife won't let him,he doesn't know I know that.
and I always think at the end credits at the zoom-out, about the story that's just been told, about that snap-shot of people's lives on a street in a town...the music accompanies that perfectly.
I couldn't agree more!!! I was talking to a friend of mine this week and her husband.I was telling them about how wonderful and fun The Burbs board was...And her husband said he had never heard of the movie...That he didn't remember it...I thought I was gonna faint...It felt like hearing a whole bunch of curse words...

I agree as well.
When you see the snap-shots of the people at the end, it's like saying good-bye to them and in the same instant you already have the pleasant anticipation of meeting them again the next time you put in your Burbs tape or DVD.
Yeah, that's what he said!No I don't want him to move, but I do want to run at him and try to strangle him. While everyone is trying to break us apart...Of course he'll probably try to bit my broken finger...LOL.
