I always thought he thought she was just dumb. You can hear their clock in the background going 'cuckoo' while he stares at her. Lol.
 
Yeah cuckoo because she'd have to be crazy to think that doctor would be a nice addition to the neighborhood! Given that he was keeping a furnace to burn corpses in and all :p.

Yeah I caught that cuckoo clock the very first time. Bonnie even looks nervously around afterward as if she should have just said nothing...
 
The cuckoo part always makes be laugh, it perfectly adds to the awkward atmosphere withing the house and between the characters.
 
Everyone was definitely nervous, even Hans was jittery but Reuben was very annoyed. You could tell he did NOT want anyone over, he didn't want visitors or neighborly chats or anythhing.

And the only reason they even got in the house to begin with was because Rumsfield fell through the porch, Hans opened the door all the way to come out and that's when Carol and Bonnie just walked in..."Um, is your mother home?" Too funny.
