So I was watching tv the other day when all of a sudden a Lincoln car commercial comes on and I hear this really catchy tune. I then looked it up on the internet and found Major Tom by the Shiny Toy Guns, and found that it was a cover of a song done by a man named Peter Schilling.

So this is what got me started with present music obsession. I have been listening to more and more of Peter Schilling's work(and though I don't understand German but I guess some is in English) I find it quite entertaining. I haven't really heard anything much like it and it's unlike anything I'm used to listening. Anyone else like or heard of his music?

 
I remember that song. He did a full english version and it was a huge hit.
 It takes me back because I was a high school kid when it came out.
 
LOL, that's great. The US guys discover German 80's music.

This was a music style called "Neue Deutsche Welle" (New German Wave) which was very popular here in the 80's.
