Hello neighbors, I hope that you're doing well in the summer heat. You know that heat where your underwear sweats and it crawls up... :p

What about posting some pictures of things/places that represent your childhood and gives you that special nostalgic feeling. I was born in 85 and those of you that are the same age will perhaps remember some of this stuff.

That's a great idea. I was born in 1981 and could post the same pictures as you did. I also have a connection to all of these things and topics. Here are a few more:

That's some great contribution there Mr Peterson.

Was skateboarding a big thing in Germany in the early 90s?

Here in Sweden it was very popular but I was to young to get involved before it "dissiperad". I remember all the older cool kids being into skateboarding.

Good idéa for a thread, I live every day in Memory Lane so for me this kind of hit home run.

In fact, right above my bed when I go to sleep at night, my entire wallpaper on the walls are made up of a huge collage of print-outs from various memories of my life as a kid, weird I know...but this thread you posted made it kinda less weird :)

The images above is taken by me from various stuff in my life, so no web-references, all real.

It's not weird at all, on the contrary I find it very normal.
The nostalgic feeling the things from our childhood but a smile on my face to this day.

I'm decorating my new "man cave" and it will for sure be a walk down memory lane.

Hard to narrow this down! First up, hiding my Hardy Boys book under my text book so I could read it during class in 3rd grade:

Then there's the unforgettable '93 Phillies

Our first computer was an IBM PS/2 that we got second-hand from my cousin, running Windows 3.1

Ooh and all the cassette tapes. I always had a blank tape available so I could record songs off the radio. I still have some radio mix tapes from the mid-late 90s. But here was my very first album:
