Yeah they played a one off in London to see how it goes (after a few disastrous attempts over the years to get together..Live Aid etc...) and on the back of it have announced a tour....
Yeah, I heard both the Van Halen Rumor and the Zep Rumor. I suspect Zep tickets would cost you an arm and a leg. I bet they go for over $100 a pop. They've got enough money. They should do it for free
LOL. A general ticket to see a rock band here at the moment is circa £40 basic. Then £8 standard charge parking. A glass of warm P*$$ masquerading as beer £3.50.
Convert that to dollars. Im guessing...over $100? and that's without food...
But then, here in the UK, we're used to being pumped for every single penny we have (people who work that is). If you don't work you get free benefits, free prescriptions...etc...etc....
Let's just look at petrol shall we? What do you guys pay for a gallon of petrol? Shall I tell you what I'm currently paying?
£1.11 per litre.
5 UK litres roughly equals a gallon.
That's £5.55 per gallon. = (checking conversion chart) okay $11 a gallon.
What kind of mileage do your cars get. We still have millions of pick up trucks and SUVs that only get 10 to 16 miles per gallon. You have to get around 40 or 50 mpg otherwise you couldn't afford it. Geez, $11 a gallon is insane - and most of that has to be tax.
yeah its nearly all tax. Tax Tax Tax....thats what this country ought to be called: The United Taxdom
Everything is taxed...and crap. Products you buy (if the store actually has them in stock) are either missing parts, or broken. The customer service is sh*t.
