Let's spin this around...What movie would you LIKE to see remade?

Titanic - make it not so long and boring.

The 300 - make it more factual, less cartoonish

Poltergeist - one of my favorites but you could really make it pop with brand new special effects.

Van Helsing had a good premise but poor execution

All IMO

Re: Titanic

When I go to bed I usually slap a DVD on the ol' TV. One I watch a lot is one called A NIGHT TO REMEMBER about the Titanic. An old British movie starring Kenneth Moore and Honor Blackman (aka pussy galore)

It's a great film. B&W (but then I prefer them).

I saw TITANIC when it was released. I remember cos we went to the cinema with friends and the next day I had my first University exam for Criminology on determinism. I remember half watching the film/half going through my plan for the exam.

But aside from the obviously superb special FX, I hated it.

To me this is the movie. 3 hours of...

"Jack!"
"Rose"
"Jack"
"Rose!"
"Jack"
"Rose"
"We're sinking"
"Damnit"
"I'll never forget you Jack"
"Whatever"

you know what was great about Van Helsing; Kate Beckinsale! She looked great in that movie!

I'd like to see a Tarantula remake. Or some of these 70's "Earthquake" movies.

I love B&W films. :) They're so classy. hehe

And since I hate Leonardo DiCaprio, when she finally let him go in the end. I thought.."What a darn shame.." hahahhaa!

LOL She looked like his mom.

Maybe Matt Damon would have been better than De Craprio.

Real bad typcasting there...obviously Cameron was going for a girlie market...so obvious.

I can't personally speak for this movie but it is what inspired Frank Miller to write the graphic novel "300" is based upon.
