Obviously this is just an urban legend and there is no proof that the story is true.

However I thought that the whole concept of this "story" is really scary and therefore post it here. Imagine if there was some truth behind it.

Summary:

A geological group who drilled a hole about 14.4 kilometers deep in the crust of the earth are saying that they heard human screams. "We lowered a microphone, designed to detect the sounds of plate movements down the shaft. But instead of plate movements we heard a human voice screaming in pain! At first we thought the sound was coming from our own equipment."

"But when we made adjustments our worst suspicions were confirmed. The screams werent those of a single human, they were the screams of millions of humans!"

And the link:

Well at the very least, those are some really creepy sounds.

Could that be Queenie's bark from the grave at about 3:30 in the video?

Perhaps the acronym says it all - according to Wikipedia, Phil Schneider worked on "building deep underground military bases (D.U.M.B.)"

yeah defo creepy sounds...sounds like they've been mixed in a studio with effects and stuff. Good job though. That would be cool for a CD to play on Hallowe'en when the trick or treaters come knocking :)

LOL, they'd run faster than Art and Ray when those bees were behind them.

I think this is hogwash.Whoever dreamed this up should have wrote a book, maybe they could have got a movie deal out of it.

Kinda like Hades.

I think there is no chance this is real. Hell would sound much worse then that. And if it was a secret underground facility, they never would have been aloud to drill there.

What were they doing honey?

Digging.

You mean kinda like this geological group which drilled a hole about 14.4 kilometers deep in the crust of the earth are saying that they heard human screams?

*crunch* Maybe.

Hey my cousin Jerry's an editor/publisher, maybe we could make a deal?
