Supernatural element

There is a normal, everyday bad element that is associated with the Klopeks like them digging in their backyard, skulls in their trunk, femurs, etc, but there seem to be a lot of supernatural events associated with them - like the mysterious wind that blows when Ray starts to step into their lawn in the opening scene and then mysteriously stops when he steps back. Can this all be explained by normal physical lawa or is there really something supernatural at work do you think?
 
Well, regarding the lightning bolt that flew up into the sky, shortly followed by a thunderstorm, I think lightning strikes actually start on the ground and reach upwards. It just looks like it's coming down first. That electrical pulse of energy definitely triggered the storm though.

 
 
THere you go. And why are there crows coming into the neighborhood all of a sudden? Crows are symbols of death or bad news.
 
I guess the crows were looking for the corpses in the Klopek's backyard.

Yeah...maybe it was the Knapps the crows smelt...if they dug down deep enough...they'd find them...

 
Yes I've always felt that the arrival of the crows preceeded an evil wind a-blowin' - Klopeks. Like an omen or something?

you should get PowerDVD, it lets you take screencap with the push of a button.lol. it's a really neat program for watching dvds.
aaanyway, yeah he looks innocent, but kinda .. like a flesh-eater too. O-o
