The 'Burbs inspired script I'm writing

very good! Maybe you can get some friends and make this a youtube video.
 
OoOo that's cool, I felt a certain chill down my spine reading it (not from any horror, but sheer excitement). :D
 
OK, I read through all the pages now and really liked it, lots of Burbs references in there. However, there's no real ending, isn't it? Are you going to continue writing or what is the plan?
 
I'm going to continue writing it. That's all I've written so far.

I've been writing screenplays for 15 years. I finished as a finalist in a couple of contests over the years, and even got a script optioned a long time ago.

Coincidently, I also started working on a Burbs-inspired screenplay about a year back. I'd always wanted to, and eventually gave in. It's slowly turning into something interesting, although I plot and outline heavily for a long time before I start writing, so there's not much on paper yet.

Now I'm intimidated! It's only 17 pages so far(that I've posted) and it's amateurish yet. But I'm still working on it.
