Hey Art, did they really say ""We aren't here to be compassionate - we're here to dictate policy"? This is perverted concerning the fact that the girl has lost her mom. 8(

As I said, I made my internship in the HR group and we've always been nice to the people

No seriously, according to our understanding we were service providers. And our customers were the employees. Our goal was to satisfy them, whatever their request and concern was.

Maybe there are national differences in the attitudes of personnel departments? In the UK and the US the attitude might differ from the one I experienced here.

I glad to hear that you're HR group has compassion Ray P. Where I work they could care less. If it's not in the "Binder" then don't bother. Where I work it's like what Art say's.

yeah, it's actually worse for me becase I work for a HUGE contracting company I do IT work and it appears that we're all a bunch of nerds to all the customers...but we have the power. HA.

It's a very motivating song. I sometimes use it for workout. I like the lyrics as well.
