Affirmative. You can afford it. After all these serious films and many dramas, after all these academy awards you have shown the whole world that you are a first class actor. No need to proof anything anymore. Make a comedy, just for the fun of it.

I couln't help but feel Tom was channling his inner Burbs when talking about his dogs and his neigborhood in that clip.
 
I'll bet if Toms wife wanted him to do another comedy, he would.
