yep big fan! Matter of fact, I was learning a Van Halen song on the guitar just the other day!

I concur, Dave Lee Roth era. I saw Van Halen in the 1990s...with Sammy Hagar. I just wanted to see Eddie's solo and Alex's solo...

I saw them in 1985. Good stuff. I also saw them last year, they we're ok, but still worth going.

How's Eddie? After his cancer and methamphet shennanigans?

Eddie was good, looking a little rough though. Dave was pretty good to. They sounded decent. All in all, it was a good show.

I've read somewhere that one of their shows must have been a disaster (although that happened about 1 or 2 years ago). The article said, Van Halen didn't play the guitar good at all.

Man that's a shame....
