What do you like to listen to?

Joe Satriani anyone?

For those who like the sound of e-guitars. He's got quite catchy rhythms. Not this acoustic mess when you hardly recognize any rhythm at all.

Walter, I have your dog.
Surfin' with the alien...

Did he teach Steve Vai?

As a drummer I'm not really into guitar players but my fave is Eddie Van Halen (the golden years...) Angus Young is cool too. And Alex Lifeson.

Jon Bonham - Zep rules

Agree with no rap or country
*grabs chest* Oh that hurts! I was born and raised on country and I love it. At least that's not all I like, there is an awesome band called "10 Years" that I just found out about. They're a rock group. If you check them out I'd suggest starting off with the songs "Wasteland" and "Waking Up."

As I have already admitted as well, I like country music, too. Damn, I even like those 80's country songs a lot. They're playing them on the internet channel Highway 181. You can find a selection of some online channels right here:

Shoutcast Country Channels

There are also other genres, not just country.

Excuse me, I'm going to listen to Shenandoah's "Two dozen roses" now...

Don't tell my heart, my achy breaky heart...

That song is forever going to haunt the country music genre...

Sorry, sorry, OK - no rap, then. Some country.

Did you see Billy Ray Cyrus on dancing with the stars? (my wife made me watch it)
...with a knife at your throat?

LOL O/J

I'm afraid I did not see him on Dancing with the Stars... I'm not really interested in that show. Though my niece drives me insane with endless Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel...

Does Billy Ray Cyrus still wear that ridiculous mullet? "Achey Breaky Heart" is a great song although I was forced to hear some very bad Karaoke performances in the past which virtually "raped" this song. Still makes me shudder.

What about David Lee Murphy's "Dust on the bottle"?

Walter, I have your dog.
Well, I had to say my wife made me watch it but, I mainly watched it for that dancer, Kim, from Australia (female). Billy Ray has no mullet, fortunately.
