Id love to see a sequel but only if the main cast will return. I am sure Tom Hanks would be up for it.

Are you now?

Actually, Tom Hanks disowned the Burbs...he doesn't even want the world to know he was in it... heh...

...speaking of weird...have any of you guys seen him in Mazes and Monsters? (1982)

No, no one on the block has :D

But seriously, I haven't. Have just taken a look at some clips on youtube, this indeed seems to be a kind of weird / bad movie.

thats a shame. Why? i s he gone snob? It was a good movie! It was FUNNY! whats wrong with him!

Yeah, how can Tom Hanks hate one of his best movies? It's brilliant.

Yeah we definitely need a source for that claim!?

Yeah why don't you just take your source our your wifes purse? Make a stand for one time in your life.

It wouldn't surprise me if hes disowned it. I hope he ha-sent, Point is his comedies are excellent and i think his main talent is comedy. He was great in The burbs. I dont know if its Hollywood culture that makes p[people after they become successful somehow ashamed of what elitist minds consider low brow. It i sent 'artsy" enough or driving home some dumb political point. IF Mr Hanks has that attitude its ridiculous and a shame. This movie showcased his Talent as well as others. If he has that attitude said or non said it-makes me angry.Hopefully he has retained some gratitude for this movie as well-as the others( Splash, The Money Pit. Big) and a healthy home spun sense of humor and humility. I can hope because i want to like him...
