I recently purchased five new books, none of which I've read.
-Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson
-Alice in Wonderland by Louis Carrol
-The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
-The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
-Salem's Lot by Stephen King

I started with The Name of the Wind because I was in the mood for a good fantasy novel.

I've read Alice and Salem's Lot on that list...Both a long time ago. I remember Salem's Lot as having a great start. I don't mean it gets bad. I just remember loving the slow build of the start, the returning to the small town, the meeting everyone. It was very nicely done.
