I'm pretty sure many of you will know Whitesnake. "Here I go again" and "Is this love" among their top hits.

I saw a clip from their 2006 concert in London and have to say: WOW! They still keep the crowd rocking:

My knowledge of Coverdale and Whitesnake goes further back. But they is good.

I just noticed that many great Rock bands are from the UK. Are there any new Rock bands from the UK which can be recommended or has this "tradition" somehow died?

Ditto. I liked them before the "whitesnake" album. "Slide it in" was a pretty good album.

And the first album I heard from them was "1987" so I kind of grew attached to this sound (you know how I am, I grow so attached to things :) )

Oh and I just noticed that we are soon going to celebrate post no. 2000 of Mr. RY.

WOO HOO Go for it Mr. Rays Yard, YES. Now everybody on the block is watching.

Will #2000 make RY the new "neighbor with the enormous head?"

wow...I didn't even realize. This calls for a celebration. Everone come to my house for Beer, cigars (outside) and some G**damn brownies.

Cool, i'm on the way! I'll bring a pineapple and ribs...haha
