That Iwo Jima statue is awesome. Has anyone seen "Letters from Iwo Jima"? It is a very good movie. I thought it was better than "Flags of our Fathers"
 
I very nearly bought both those films the other day...but eneded up getting U-571 and I AM LEGEND double disc
 
I haven't seen "Letters of Iwo Jima" yet, I heard it is good.
  
I didn't care for the movie "Flags of our Fathers" as much as I did the book, which is usually the case.

The Iwo Jima war memorial is awesome, especially for me, being a former Marine.

U-571. I think I saw that, about the German U-Boat that they were able to take the Enigma Machine from?

How is I Am Legend? I heard it is closer to the book (or is it short story?) than Omega Man. Would you recommend it?
 
I thought Iwo was better than Flags. I would recommend Iwo. They were far different movies, although in history mirrors of the same event.

U-571 is a bad ass movie! I haven't seen that for some time now. I guess it's time to watch again. Anyone here seen Memento? Amazing movie!
