OK, another "what's your favorite..." thread.

Just list your favorite TV themes here.

Mine is...don't know there are so many themes from the 80's I like (plus all the great cartoon themes).

I guess I'll take the DuckTales theme:

Hmmm good one!

From the 1970s, SURVIVORS! The Sweeney, Starsky & Hutch, 1980s Minder, Das Boot...

I'll have to have a think on this.

The Addams Family
The Munsters
Sanford and Son
A~Team
Top Cat
Hong King Feuy
Fact of Life
Scooby Doo
Hogan's Hero's
Match Game

So many themes to pick from. All I can think of right now ~ sure I will have more as they pop into my head all the time (don't ask, lol)

Good Topic

Scooby-Dooby-Doo, where are you? Yeah, that was catchy, too.

Does anybody know "Tropical Heat" (aka "Sweating Bullets")? An early 90's show which featured a cool theme song which totally captured the caribbean "fun in the sun" - feeling of the show.

Convince yourself:

At first I didn't think I had heard it, but then the more I am listening it does seem familiar. Nice tune though regardless. :D

I like a lot of theme songs. I'd have to say the one's I find myself mindlessly singing are:

- The Nanny
- The Golden Girls
- Frasier

:)

As you might have already noticed I'm quite influenced by all my childhood cartoons and shows.

Anybody knows the "Fraggle Rock"?

Dance your cares away (*clap, clap*) - worries for another day.

By the way, the "Golden Girls" theme was originally sung by Andrew Gold, who later had some commercially successfull songs with "Wax" in the 80's.

This is not the music video but at least you can hear the original song:

I love the Fraggle Rock theme. I was a bit too young to see it when it was shown on tv. My sister has the dvds now, so i get to watch it, and love them. Jim Henson was amazing.
